Customer Testimonials

We really enjoyed our camel ride on the dunes and the spectacular sunset. Our guide, Youssef, was informative and personable and (special bonus) spoke beautiful English. We heartily recommend this excursion while in Morocco.
Our tour group stopped in the desert for a sunset camel ride in the sand dunes. This was the highlight of our trip through Morocco, though all the trip was excellent. What a neat experience to feel the camel glide across the dunes. It was about a half hour ride to the sunset spot, which was a nice amount of time for a newby camel rider. And it was a beautiful sight to see the setting sun glance across the dunes, displaying such an amazing texture. Our camel man, Youssef Achabou’s, friendly personality, English skills, knowledge of the desert, and camera skills helped to make it the highlight. He had us playing in the sand and shot lots of poses of us with our cameras. Don’t be afraid to take your shoes off and feel the sand on your feet. Youssef’s initiative really added to our desert experience. My only regret is it ended too soon. Next time I would like to spend the night there.
15 of us were staying in Erfoud ,four smart 4×4’s arrived late afternoon and took us on the flat hard sands across the desert for about 30 mins before we arrived at Erg Chebbi where a team of young guys with 15 camels were awaiting our arrival.Immediate confidence was instilled through excellent English and helpfulness in mounting …a smooth operation. The camels were led throughout and for joyfully much longer than I had anticpated as we climbed dunes which rise to 250m.We then alighted to watch the sun sink turning the Sahara red .We then remounted and feeling exhilaration of the highest order ,strolled gently back on our well behaved ships of the desert ,to the 4×4’s.I spend 3 months a year travelling and can honestly say I have I not had a more fulfilling holiday excursion ever. All the camel guides were personable ,charming ,helpful and if typical of their generation, Morocco can be truly proud of its well educated twenty somethings ,making its future look bright.Do not miss the opportunity to take this trip, indeed make for Morocco to do it ,you won’t be disappointed .
