The MDLBEAST Foundation<\/a> has officially announced the open call for the 2026 edition of its HUNNA mentorship program, a growing initiative dedicated to supporting women in music across the MENA region. Entering a new phase, the program is expanding beyond mentorship to become a wider platform focused on education, advocacy, and long-term industry development.<\/p>\n

Based in Riyadh, the initiative continues to strengthen its role within the regional music ecosystem by creating more opportunities for women pursuing careers in music, entertainment, and related creative industries. Applications for both mentors and mentees are now officially open for the 2026 cycle.<\/p>\n

Since its launch, HUNNA <\/a>has supported more than 100 women through mentorship programs, leadership courses, workshops, and industry-focused experiences. Each edition has featured a highly selective application process, bringing together emerging talents and experienced professionals from across the region.<\/p>\n

For 2026, HUNNA is introducing an expanded educational hub designed to increase access to mentorship, professional guidance, and learning resources. The initiative is also positioning itself as a stronger voice for advocacy within the music industry. By collaborating with organizations and industry stakeholders, HUNNA seeks to improve gender balance across festivals, music events, creative teams, and the wider entertainment landscape throughout the Middle East and North Africa.<\/p>\n

HUNNA\u2019s program includes mentorship opportunities, masterclasses, workshops, exchange programs, and artistic residencies, alongside access to a growing network of regional artists and music professionals. Past mentors have included notable industry figures such as Sarah El Miniawy, founder of Simsara Music, Christina Lazic, DJ and producer, Salam Kmeid from Anghami, and Celine Hitti, Head of Artist Services MENA at Believe.<\/p>\n
